Azul provided demolition, earthwork, and underground utility installation services on multiple projects in this development. My responsibility was to ensure our project management team and field crews had the resources they needed to meet the client’s schedule.

Project Description 

$150 million building to be constructed in front of UC Berkeley Memorial Stadium. The excavation was over 50 feet deep in some areas and ran along the edge of the stadium. Soldier beams and tiebacks had to be installed to prevent undermining the stadium and construction had to be completed in a manner that would allow the football games to continue.
