Operations Manager for Azul Works in charge of overseeing multiple project in The San Francisco Shipyard development. Azul provided demolition, earthwork, and underground utility installation services on multiple projects in this development. My responsibility was to ensure our project management team and field crews had the resources they needed to meet the client’s schedule.

$150 million building to be constructed in front of UC Berkeley Memorial Stadium. The excavation was over 50 feet deep in some areas and ran along the edge of the stadium. Soldier beams and tiebacks had to be installed to prevent undermining the stadium and construction had to be completed in a manner that would allow the football games to continue.

Scope of Work

Project Manager for AVAR Construction responsible for the design and construction of soldier beam and tieback wall that would support the Memorial Stadium while new building was being constructed.
